Coast Guard/ Merchant Mariner Physical Exams

We are pleased to offer U.S. Coast Guard/Merchant Mariner Medical Certifications at our location.

Applicants seeking a medical certificate (Form CG-719K) are required to complete a physical with a licensed physician, Certified Nurse Practitioner , or Physician Assistant.

All persons employed or engaged onboard vessels to which STCW applies will be issued a medical certificate valid for 2 years unless the merchant mariner is under the age of 18, in which case the maximum period of validity is 1 year.

U.S. Coast Guard/ Merchant Mariner Medical Certifications are completed in our office and are submitted by the merchant mariner to the U.S. Coast Guard part of the Department of Homeland Security.
